To enable WhatsApp notifications:

  1. Sign up at twilio.com (free trial)
  2. Enable WhatsApp Sandbox in Twilio Console
  3. Add credentials via Settings → Secrets
  4. Required: TWILIO_ACCOUNT_SID, TWILIO_AUTH_TOKEN, TWILIO_FROM_NUMBER, TWILIO_TO_NUMBER

WhatsApp Setup Guide

WhatsApp notifications via Twilio are free to set up with a trial account (~$15 credit included). Follow these steps to get your CEO reports and order alerts on WhatsApp:

Go to twilio.com and create a free account

In Twilio Console → Messaging → Try it out → Send a WhatsApp message

Follow the sandbox setup to connect your WhatsApp number

Copy your Account SID and Auth Token from the Console Dashboard

Add all 4 secrets to your project via Settings → Secrets: TWILIO_ACCOUNT_SID, TWILIO_AUTH_TOKEN, TWILIO_FROM_NUMBER (whatsapp:+14155238886), TWILIO_TO_NUMBER (whatsapp:+1YOURPHONE)
